I began my career in tech on my TI-83 calculator in high school, making simple games and programs in BASIC to show off to my friends. My internal curiosity was sparked, and I knew I wanted to keep learning more about programming. In the years that followed I took up personal projects in my free time, building mobile apps and websites. In 2019 I graduated from Hope College with a degree in Computer Science and have been working as a software engineer ever since.

One of my specialties is taking an idea from scratch and creating a full-fledged platform. I go beyond to produce sites and apps with a unique, outstanding, contemporary look-and-feel. I solve problems with an entrepreneurial mindset — using an ability to understand user needs and communicate technical problems to non-technical people. I enjoy challenges and am always looking to learn new things.
